Bump. Someone has to have done this?
I've changed my share of dizzy rotors before now, but I haven't changed the corollas one yet. I opened up the dizzy cap and saw that there's a cover over the base of the rotor that says "Do not remove". It appears that you would have to remove this cover to get to the screw at the base of the rotor to unscrew it and remove it.
Is this the case? or is there another trick way you are supposed to remove the dizzy rotor?
Sorry I have not done this.
Does it look like this diagram http://locost7.info/files/engine/4ag...top/bt5-ig.pdf describes?
Maybe that helps?
No actually, it doesn't look like that, but thanks for the input anyway! :-)
Wonder where I could find a 98 corolla service manual?
