    do you plan for it to be road legal?

    depending on the weight of the 23, it may not be able to be engineered

    You might just be able to engineer it in a not so legal way,

    Main issue with most rotary conversions into non rotary cars is the transmission tunnel hieght due to the crank location in rotaries being a fair way above the bottom of the motor.

    According to the draft NCOP you can go 2.7 times kgs of car for forced induction so approx 1065kg X 2.7 = 2875 ccs, rotaries are calculated at double swept volume so 13b being swept volume of 1306cc X 2 = 2612cs does comply on straight dispalcement rules under NCOP.

    Will then be a matter of getting a suspensiona nd brake package together that your planned certifying engineer is happy with.

    regards

    no chance, just spoke with my engineer and we need to have my mates project on the road before christmas, they are changing the power toweight ratios laws, my mates is a mini with a starlet gti engine and its nearly complete, for rotary though you could go n/a 13b, or 12a tt, if you turbo it you cant get that high capcity engine,

    but hey look at me i have a 23 with a 13b but its the ports that could and iam looking forward to rewriting that toymod 1/4 record

    for classic celicas that is

    hey man check out this link

    http://www.toymods.net/forums/showth...n+Design+Rules

    Ra23= 1065kg
    times that by 2.75 gives you 2928.75

    so a rounded off figure would be 3000 which means 1JZ,2JZ,13BT should be engineerable with suitable brake diff mods etc...etc.
