Wow, Cruiser, you have a good memory.
Thanks guys; yup, I'll try the 90915-YZZD2 filter.

I'm pretty sure that Nissan and toyota both use the same size thread on the oil filter - 3/4-16 thread, so any toyota filter for a 3s, 4a, 1/2zz will fit. In ryoc this means Z386 and Z158 will probably fit if you want a "Toyota" filter. I would just go and buy a the original ryco one you were asking about and be done with it. If you are worried change it a bit more regularly - it will be more beneficial for your engine as well.

Ask your friendly local ryco man for a higher spec filter with the same mount dimensions as the Z145a, with or without bypass valve etc.

    Cheers!

I have found catalogues at Super Cheap with cross references, also on the sides of the boxes are the models that each one covers. Also pretty sure that if you search the web you can find the cross references it just takes time.
Toyota now all on computer and as you say if you can find a guy to stand still long enough to search for you.

While your at it please find me the Toyota part number for DB86 pads to suit a Corona with the Cresida pad wear sensor cutout noches?? .
