throttle cable, which to use?

hi fellow toymodders, got another question that i've tryed lookin for and have come back with not much about what throttle cable to use with a 1jz mx83 cressida, other than using a jzx81 throttle cable, which are almost impossible to get a hold of unless you buy a frontcut.

I want know if i can use the mx83 one or if there are any other interchanable oddities from any ADM or even a more common JDM.

Any help as always is greatly appreciated

MX83 will be too short I suspect.

I used a long throttle cable from a ~96? Camry (S engine), I'm not sure on the model code, not that into Camrys...

It is pretty dang long, prbly about 30cm longer than it needs to be...

I used the same one as wilbos on my mx73 & on a mates mx83, out of a camry (can't remember exactly which one) and about 30cm longer than necessary. Spend an afternoon at a self serve wreckers & you should be able to come up with something.

Also an RA65 power steering line is perfect for 1Js into Cressidas, grab one of these while you're at it.

RT142 Corona have pretty well the same power steering lines as well.

If you want to get one made you can try ATS cables at Coopers Plains. They weren't to badly priced when I went there a few years ago to get my handbrake cables and gear selector cables made and fixed.
