Good idea with the excel radiator, but what are you going to do about the member that sits across that openning? Are you leaving it off and using the radiator as the structural member? If so, do you know if thats legit with the DOT?

but then the gearbox wont fit right....then need tail shaft modes yes no?

but looking at this pic Brett your motor is in the same spot as mine.

I'll have to get the gearbox on and sit the whole lot in.

TA - did you have to lower your mounts or tilt the motor to clear the steering box?
I didn't have to do either with the GZE mounts. The engine is about 30mm from the bonnet at its highest point and clears the steering box by about 20mm.

RA60 power steering in mine so the mounts were way high and im changing
to soarer mounts for ease anyhow so different kettle of fish in this corner.

but on your mounting the gearbox Stu.

all guides say to mount the gear box as mentioned above to position the engine.

and with gze/gge mounts on a std ra28 cross member you should have a bolt in job.

gze mounts must be longer because peeps say to add a 10mm spacer on the turbo side to clear the steering... so your well on the right path.
