    Default Bumping threads with polls

Hey guys is there anyway you can stop a vote in a poll bumping a thread back up to the top, there is no added value to the thread especially when some people have been searching and reading old threads then voted in a poll which has then resurrected a thread from the dead.

Not to mention some of the polls are about as good as look what I found on teh intahnet links.

That or is there an option to say if a poll hasn't had a vote for say 2 weeks then it is closed automatically but the thread remains active.

Just of recent I have noticed a few older ones coming back and well they were average threads to start off with and 4 months down the track they are even worse.

    Cheers,

    Jonathan

    Totally agree!!!
Or maybe the users could select a 2 week limit when they make the poll?

I have changed the setting for this. We'll see if I get complaints about having it this way now I guess.
