W58 Supra gearbox Input spline count info

Ok, the new site search engine sux just as hard as the old one for finding important information like the strings w58, t50, 2jz, 4a, gze...

All i'm after is the front and rear shaft spline count (not dia) from the first generation gearbox (non 2JZ w58)
I know the ratio's already, I've got my magnets, blah blah.
I just want to do the maths before I get to the wrecker tomorrow morning!

Spline count = 21 Peaks. (this is the same for the W40, W50, W55, W57, W58, R154)

The 2jz W58 input shaft has identical splines to any other W58 (and the shaft is also very very similar in my experience...the difference cannot be seen without removing the front bearing retainer).

The input is the same as the output.

Now what do I have to do to fool that search engine? supra supras supra's oval shape shaped gearbox box 'box gbox spline splines ... hope that helps somebody!

Given that the old site has been locked, the google method is now the best. Infact i might even write a simple script tomorrow to add a search functionality for the old forums. However, the new forums search function is heaps better than the old ones, the problem comes in that not all of the information has been migrated across (and probably not all ever will), but that will come in time.
