3y into corona?

hi guys!!
im pretty sure the answer will be a no.. but anyway..
just wondering wether a 3y hilux motor will bolt up to a 83 corona?
and yes i know it wont improve power! the reason for the swap is dad has just blown the head on the motor out of the corona and ive just pulled the 3y out of my hilux which has only 160,000 on it.. so if it will bolt up that would be cheaper than fixing his old one!!

p.s the my hilux has a g52 gearbox..

take some measurements and you'll soon know!

the main ones would be bellhousing face(ieback of motor) to mount position, and/or whether the corona mounts will fit or if the hilux ones will fit. either gearbox will bolt onto either bellhousing, assuming the corona you're talkng about is 18r powered.

Pretty sure 3Y and 2S have very similar bellhousing patterns.
