hey guys and gals, today im gonna rip apart my mums dash in her '97 starlet and put in a new head unit that she got from santa (me).im all set with the wires cos i got one of them adaptors that just hook on to the old headunit plug. ive hasd a look at the dash and all i saw was to little screws i think it might have some clips but am not sure. Just wondering if anyone could give me any info??

haven't seen the inside of the starlet, but generally you need to just lever out the sides, after removing plugs etc.

Got a pic of the dash perhaps?

undo all the screws and gently pry it out at points, not too harsh or you risk breaking plastics, just softly, it should unclip.
