    Default Wheel Bearing Ma70

    Hey guys,

I have to replace the wheel bearings in my car but i can not find any part numbers or suppliers in my area. Also i am looking at the auto aerial for my car as well, is there replacement mast options available.

Realise that this is most likely a classified thread but i was also after suggestions for front left hand noise....hence wheel bearings. turning right noise seems to go away straight or left it comes back. Not always consistant which makes me think its not rubbing. Also car pulls to the left as well ever after wheel alignment and correct air pressure.

    Open for all suggestions.....

    Oh yeah is a MA70 7MGE 1986.5

    +ve rep for you both

Anyone able to enlighten me as to what I would ask for at these stores? Im guessing they dont have A70 specific stuff in their catalouge as that would be waaaay too easy.
I used to eat alot of natural foods. That was until I learned that most people died of natural causes.

Normally the guys are pretty good. Just give them a call and tell them what you want, they will know if they can get it in stock or not.

Some of the newer model cars are yet to have replacement bearings made and models like the AE101 series corolla you have to buy the complete hub as you can't replace the bearings.

i replaced rear wheel bearings in my jza70 recently,

i rang all the local bearing suppliers in my yellow pages and they all had prices on ma70 rear bearings, some took a few hours but they all got back to me.

prices ranged from 150 - 250 per side.

i suggest opeing your yellow pages and calling them all, hard to know who will have best price.

ok i called a few places in my area, apparently u can not get front seals anymore as they stopped making them and bearings were $200 per side for fronts and $150 fir rears. Is this ok price?

The ones for cressida were like $60 they couldnt find listing for Ma70. They not the same i guessing.

not sure on fronts, but that price for rears is decent, annoying thing is thats its pricey to get these installed, unless you know someone with a press!

I took my hubs up to my local bridgestone tyre shop. They pressed the new bearings in for $15 each. The car was an aw11 MR2.

ok, i have been chatting to my uncle (mechanic) who thinks that there must be another bearing for another toyota that fill fit on the Ma70. From memory he is pretty sure it wasnt used just in the Supras.

Are they the same as the Hilux or any other toyota?

Anyone have the sizing for the bearing?

    thanks heaps again for help
