Ok .. here the problem ..
i attach a photo below to help me explain
My LSD set up look something like
ok ..
If you notice the ROund PLates ( 12 pcs ) 1.75mm-2mm thickness
there are the friction plate and disk . ( 6 each )
but when i take my LSD aparts ..
I found . about the SAME . - but BEtween THOSE Friction PLates . i found 6 extra pcs
THIS 6 Extra Pcs is THINK round . Plates about 0.3mm-0.4mm thickness maybe thinner or thicker about there . There got Stud surface - like for the usage of friction .
All the 6 extra Plates i found is badly wear out on one side .
OK.. simple replace them ( i think )
so i hunt the whole day and found a set of replacment .
but . i was given 12 pcs . ( sold to me and said is one SET )
NOW i am confuse seriously confuse .
First my LSD got 6 extra pcs .. and when i finally found the Replacment for the 6 extra studded friction plate ( 0.3mm ) it come in 12 pcs . 6 pcs in the shape of friction disk and 6 pcs in the shape of friction plate .
so i am confuse . really confuse -
can someone seld me some light , what are the Pro and con to those extra plate
seem like those Plates if i add them will CREA alot mroe FRICTION > to the LSD i had ..
from the look of it . it like a Clutch Plate . in the LSD .
So if i Have more FRICTION in the LSD what do i get ?

QUESTION
Hi,
What LSD is it? T-series (6.7inch), F-series (7.5inch), etc?
I assume you're talking about the clutch-plates and thrust-washers for your LSD?
If so, there should be a marking on the case of the diff such as A, B, C, D... etc. You need this case identifier to help you determine the required thickness of the thrust-washers.
For example, assuming it's an F-series LSD and it has "C" marked on the diff case and the distance between the assembled clutch plates is between 71.06 and 71.09mm (inclusive), then you need thrust-washers 4+4. The thrust-washers are the circular ones with the 4 prongs on them, and on the prongs (or at least one of the prongs) there should be a stamped number (ie 1,2,3,4 etc). So, for the above example you will need 2 of the number-4 thrust-washers. Does that make sense to you?
You just don't grab anything and bang and grind until it fits, especially in an LSD, and expect it to work properly or last long.
