    Default TA22 headlight size?

Are the headlights on a TA22 5 3/4" ? I don't have a ruler to go and measure mine and the workshop book doesn't say.

to do that conversion wouldnt you need a ballast resistor to use the H series globes?

    no........

the solid beam globe is still a H4 plug....all you are doing is changing the housing so that you can repplace globes....not the whole unit....

but if you want to use these as highbeam lights (inner lights) then you will have to use outer cups, so they fit.....

no...you dont need a ballast resisitor, wire it thru a couple of relays if doing the 4 low/4 high beam conversion....

    blake
