    Does anyone know where I can get an exploded diagram of a 1UZ starter motor?

    Haha, seriously, its a starter motor, just pull it apart, clean it up.

    I pulled the start off mine apart a couple of weeks ago and replaced the bearings etc. - there's nothing tricky in there, just lay it out as you pull it apart and be careful that none of the parts spring out and hide themselves somewhere 50 metres away...
