Damo, more pertinent question, what were your 60ft times and MPH? When that engine was in the red car, it sure as hell wasn't a 16.5 second car

I knew it was only a matter of time before Orlando came and mocked my times.

you are welcome to take it for a drive mate - and my personal pat on the back if you can figure out why its running like a dog!?

it all means you need to get your god dam knock sensor sorted out so we can eliminate that check engine light

From there we shall find the problem!!!
Hey Nathan i can assure you it wasnt his driving, after about an hour of test drives and shit, it was still slow as!!!

If it's hitting boost cut, running bullshit rich and slow, and makes less than *standard* boost, I'd be looking for a leak.

that knock sensor would be playing havoc with everything.

damo, sort that check engine light out first before you look further into anything else, its probably running in "safe mode"

    i.e. Retarded.

Normally I'd agree with you, but the knock sensor was always disconnected, yet it didn't always run like ass. Weird.

seemed that a leaky factory BOV was a major source of boost leakage..
luckily I had a new GFB Mach1 layin around.. so that sorted that out..
still hits boost cut at 8.5 - 9psi.. dunno what thats about?.. maybe cos I'm running an auto ECU?..

also - no more check engine light! WooT!..
good to have another knock sensor wired up.

The car is alot smoother and accelerates without hesitation now!

just need to get more boost into it to get more power!

anyway - a re-run at the drags will be happening in the near future to see what the car is currently capable of.
    I'm thinking a mid/low 14s
