ta22 fuel tank q

Hi folks, I have a quick q about the 75 (behind rear seats) ta22 fuel tank.

I want to flush the fuel line and I am wondering if there is a filter/strainer inside the tank attached to the metal pipe entering the tank?

I ask because I want to flush it using a compressor and maybe even sliding a piece of wire into the pipe and i don’t want to break anything off the pipe into the tank itself.

Is this is a sealed tank as it looks?

Pretty sure there is a mesh sock on end of pickup.
Tank is sealed, take cap off when blowing back with compressor.
If car has been sitting for a while does fuel pump act normaly for a while, if so tank is probably building up a vacuum with vent being blocked.
