Default Starter Motor Diff on 20v and 100kw 4age?

I am 99% finishing the 20v conversion but i've got into a bit of a problem

The 20v i got had an auto box on it and the starter was on the firewall side..

The gearbox i am using on it now is a c52 gearbox which has the coverplate of the 20v, I didn't mind that, i could put the starter motor at the back, At my attempts to install the 20v starter motor, i kept having trouble each time like it was catchin on something,

Do i have to run the 100kw starter motor?

    Is there a difference?

I'm just hopin the gearbox won't have to come out sad.gif

    Thanks
    Adrian!

Also wondering about the rear engine mount on the ae92/ae93 too
I have got it to sit right, but the rubber bit as seen to the top right of the engine mount is sticking towards the motor,
But for some reason the thread isn't coming out of the bottom right bolt from the engine mount

Should that rubber thing on top be facing the firewall and the mount flipped around? I tired this but had no luck fittin it,

The crossmember on the back goes on a slant, thats why the thread on the right looks shorter, its just a bit hard to draw it!

the engine mount is mounted correctly. I had the engine in and out of my AE92 SX so many times....good times....

Use the sandwitch plate from the 20V and the starter, you'll need to run a new starter cable to the starter (as it needs to be longer than the AE92 one). It's also better as the starter won't get heatsoaked by the exhaust anymore. Not sure what its "Catching" on though....
