What's a 2TR-FE? new hilux motor info within
Had a squiz at a Hilux Work Mate a delivery driver was fanging around on friday.
From a quick glance it has coil on plug, fly by wire, vvti, plastic intake manifold, big r150 gearbox.
AND A FRONT SUMP!!!! add a turbo, throw it in a old rwd car......... may need a bonnet bulge, on a bulge, it's quite a tall motor.

*meh*
lots of newer engines revert back to the timing chain .. less maintenance and about as quiet as having a belt..the 2NZ has almost no chain rattling noise even with high kms
