Has it always done this, or is it changing?
driving the feral lately i notice i am looseing boost. when i floor it i get my 12psi WOT, but as the revs raise boost starts to bleed off to about ~8psi.
now i think i've read somewhere about putting a spring on the wastegate flapper to hold it closed more against the acuvator?

no it used to hold 12psi until redline. i have noticed it loose a little boost in the past, but it seems worse now. i havnt changed anything in the set-up.
it's probably a good thing anyway now i'm back to 9.4:1 c/r. haha.
Check the basics first, make sure you don't have a dirty air filter or a partially blocked muffler.
filter and muffler are fine. just took it for a strap up the hi-way (good thing the mine camp is just off the hi-way).
had a play with my dual stage boost controller, it was keeping boost for a bit longer i think, but still bleeding off a little in the higher revs.
had a overheating issue on the way up here thursday, just now with it idleing there where some bubbles presentmaybe thats where the boost is going. haha. damn it.
Couldnt that be a problem with your actuator not holding the wastegate open at the set psi properly. Under a higherload its creeping open...

yea, thats what i was thinking (re: 1st post). i'm sure i've heard or read somewhere about someone putting a spring on the wastegate flapper to assist holding it closed.
hrmm.. might have to have a looksee in the mine workshop tonight........
I believe MY problem might also be related to this, except its partially stuck open.
