    Default KE,AE70 suspention set up

just so people know, from my experiance every suspention catalogue the list any upgrade for these cars are actuly just listing an upgrade for an AE8 . I got koni adjustables for my AE71 the part number listed was for an AE86, these two cars do not have the same struts an AE71 front strut is about 38ml diamater the AE86 is about 44ml diamater.
i made this thread so people dont make the same mistake i have and spend more money on your Corolla than you have to, if i could go back i would have just done an S13 swap and started from there.

Which books are they using? The suspension, brake and clutch shops I went to while I had an AE71 panelvan showed both sizes on their book listings for AE71 - don't know about the KE70 vans, but the AE71 vans have the AE86 front struts, shocks, brakes and clutch. All other AE71 body shapes share the suspension from the KE70 corollas, hence the two different sizes listed. The books can be confusing at the best of times so I found it best with the AE71 to remove the old part and take it with me when buying new ones - good idea anyway but a necessity on this model.

    Hope this helps
