    Default WSID Tonight 30/8

    Hi Guys,

Random last minute decision, I'm heading out to WSID tonight. Hopefully the weather holds and I can get in. If you see a silver Supra come up and say hi.

I wanted to go next week, but I'll be too busy(sorry Expeditous).

    Nath

    14.8 @ 93MPH
    2.3 60" (slower than usual...which is wierd...)

This is my best time ever, I was looking at breaking the 15's, and there you go

Had lots of runs against Krystals(speeling) MZ21, Matt kept fiddling with boost and AFM's all night, and Krystal also managed a 14.8, but there is plenty of room left for improvement there as she is trapping 15-20Km/h faster than me. I managed to just get her most of the night, but there was one run where I felt quite helpless as she hit boost and flew by.

Also saw finney out and about, as far as I know he ran a 16.4 best

Screaminrolla was also there, 13.4 I think was his best, but I heard he had some issues with something...

Anyway, all in all a great night, no I don't have any pics though :| I know Matt took some.

Nice to see plenty of Toymodders out there

Yes, the p00 soarer did alright, last run of the night was a 14.3 at 102 MPH. Her 60' times were carp, but with a little practice shifting (best time was done in drive) and stalling it up on the line I reckon it has 13s in it. Unfortunately due to a lengthy round of banging off the rev limiter on one run due to a shifting cockup it appears she's killed the harmonic balancer (I hope it's that and not a big end).
Looks for fun for me on the weekend!

managed to get a 16.322 out of the car on my 6th run of the night. had consistent 2.40 60' times in more than half my runs that were in the 16.4's so i was pretty happy about that. It was a great feeling dumping the clutch at 5500rpm and having it just haul off the line

My best run for the night was a 13.35@114mph with a 2.3 60'. Traction was a big problem

93MPH is trapping pretty quick for a JZA80, and if you could actually get that barge off the line and improve the 60ft the 14.68 i set is looking in trouble!

Agreed if you can get your 60 foot time back down you'd be doing close to a 14.6 .

Congrats on the time, ToyotaFest is going to be very interesting.
    If in doubt power out

    www.cacklingpipes.com

    www.badgerphotography.com.au

As of 1pm today, still no photos from last night though.

Yea my 60' times arn't the best, next time I'm heading out i've been offered a set of slicks for the back hehe, should make things interesting....

Without any more engine mods I won't run for a while now, probably wait until Toyotafest's outing.

Does feel great to have broken a barrier I've been hitting for 12 month though, shows what working o2 sensors can do

Like I've said a few times, I'm really excited to see what Waynes car can do with more power and a 200Kg's less weight
