Default YTF does my front brake lock on one side?

    As title asks....

I got a siezed front left caliper the other week.
Replaced both front calipers, swapped in my spare rotors, put in new pads, bled full system (twice).

Now my car is locking up on the front left under moderate to heavy braking.
Anyone got any clues as to what may be causing this...
Gonna try a re-bleed and swap in some fresh rotors this weekend
But any other ideas to try would be goood cheers.

    were they brand new parts?

Possible seized caliper slides. Did you grease the slides?

Rotors were machined about 1500k ago in another AW11.
Put them on with new pads.
Calipers were off the other car (280k) changed both sides to keep as a pair.
I didnt grease the slides before puting the spare calipers on.
    Should I?

    1. make sure the piston is able to move back and forth.. could be the piston's stuffed or not straight anymore..

    2. vacuum line from the brake booster has a leak or block somewhere?

considering u've swapped the brake's components already i'd look at what's on the car itself i.e. vacuum lines and brake booster..

Is it only locking, or is it also dragging and not releasing properly?
If it is only on one side unlikely to be booster or master cylinder as would effect both sides.

Crusty old brake line, that's my guess.
I had the same thing, rebuilt both calipers, & it still did it. It turns out my brake line on the L/H side would let the 100psi or so (at a wild guess) brake pressure through, then when I lifted off the brakes it was old/blocked/crusty enough to hold maybe 3~4psi in the caliper, enough to drag the pads.
New lines for 40 odd bucks & she was as good as gold.

EDIT: pull the brake line off, & see if you can blow through it. If not it's clogged.
