    Default AE82 interior into AE92

I've a AE82 Twincam that's stuffed, and a mate's selling an AE92 with no interior (no seats, carpets, headlining etc).

Which, if any, bits will go from the AE82 to the '92? Are the floor pans similar enough that the carpet might go? Would the seats fit?

Its an odd question I know.

I'm thinking most of it will be pretty unlikely to fit.
Re the seats, get a tape measure out and measure the rails

pretty sure the seat rails are completely different & also nearly all the dash is going to be different as well. Carpet will more than likely be the wrong size too - is this the SX rally project that's for sale in Canberra? Keep it stripped and get the Velo seat for it as well. Chuck in a cage and you've got a helluva fun street car
    Cheers,
    Paul.

Yeah, that's the one. I reckon an AE92 would make a pretty good rally car, but I've already got a rally car and need a daily driver

hehhe.. i reckon it would to! A mate of mine has sent me the link to the for sale thread on bmsc a couple of times now trying to convince me to buy something for khanas etc so as to not destroy my own car but I just don't have the room.
    Cheers,
    Paul.

hey boss, i just took the seats out of an 82 twin cam my mate brought, but it has the ae92 sx seats, and they bolted into my 82 ok. it doesnt appear that the rails where changed. If u get much 82 stuff into the 92, let me know as id like to do the opposite and put all 92 stuff in the 82. thanks

With enough time with a welder and angle grinder, anything can fit
