sticky throttle? throttle cable needs a bit of grease? throttle plate's spring mechanism needs oiling?
i''m just thinking mechanical bits before jumping to big conclusions
has done it once but fixed itself, but started to do it again, i think it a timingt belt issue, i already have one on the way ....just lately idels at about 1k-1500 and then while clutching in on upshifts ..rpm's jump a few hundred rpm's, like 3k=3300 or so somethng like that...thinking bout cleaning the ISCV but dont think it will solve the problem when my rpms jumping...any help appreciated thanks

ya....i can hold the cable back and it comes down, as soon as i let go it kinda jumps a little, also this morning fist time it has done this, is the rpms, bounce from 1k-2k back in forth temporarely
sounds like the idle control mechanism.. take it out and give it a clean![]()
could be muck in there

will do. was just reading the writeup bout the ISCV cleaning
oxygen sensor?? They can do that sorta wierd stuff when they get a bit clogged. disconnect the wire, and see if it changes anything. If it gets worse, then its not oxy sensor. Also possibly MAP sensor... try the same thing. It might not be recognising that its coming off throttle.
