I have a stock standard one in the files somewere, ill have a look see if i can find it! lol no its not as lumpy at that
from memory a stocko with stock exhaust is around the 58kw mark.
Has anyone got a dyno plot for a healthy stock(ish) smallport?
I've found this one, but somehow I doubt it's 100% healthy buy the lumpiness in the output curve.
I'm sure someone has had a stock one at a dyno day sometime, but the results pages are missing![]()

Ben - Have sent you an email with mine attached. Would post it up but am having some problems with web-hosting atm...
As far a figures go, it was comparable with other cars that ran on the day, and the following dyno day (where most cars seemed to read a bit lower) my power output dropped comparably to some of those same cars.
Cheers!
Thank you
Some pretty healthy numbers there - I've imageshacked it in case someone comes across this in a search later.
I'm not that excited about numbers, no matter what they say, I refuse to believe that all dynos are anywhere near accurate. I'm more interested in the shape of the power curve. I'm trying to get as close to an accurate base line as possible for some engine analyser software.
Here is my old one:

Just out of curiosity, what sort of numbers did it pull at the later dyno day? It seems to be substantially higer than the others...Originally Posted by AE92GTi
lol just noticed only 2 out of 4 done in the same gear.
Keep in mind, even if you're not too fussed about the actual number, that while paul's falls into the 'stockish' category, i think the extractors and secondaries on his car are responsible for the healthy numbers, compared to the other two.
But this may make it a more accurate comparison if the baseline is for an engine starting from the same point.

now now mick - the rumours of different gears have already been completely dispelled. Need i remind you of the 4age 20V blacktop that did back to back dyno runs (on dyno dynamics shootout mode) in 3rd and then 4th gear with only a 2kW difference in power outputs??Originally Posted by kingmick
oh... and stop making fun of old PIMP BOY!!! He was a god amongst mere mortals!!
...even if he did have lumpy power output
