On ae92 and later GZE front cuts, should be a few open ones floating around.
I can give you the length as i have one sitting in the shed!
I am attempting to put the even length driveshafts out of a latter model rolla into my AE82.
I have the output shaft and bearing carrier that is required, I now need the drivers side driveshaft.
The driveshaft place is scratching their head, I need to help them find or make this shaft.
Did this setup come out of any ADM rolla like a ae92 SX?
The driveshaft shop said that they can make one for me but need to know the length in both extended and contracted positions, measurements would be great.
Can anyone help?
All the info I have found so far comes from:

If the GZE will be the same, I know that they are a different driveshaft spline wise ect.
The driveshaft place needs the mesurement from spline - spline, extended and compressed so they can make one up.

It is an open diff
It is a c5x gearbox for a NA car.
Im starting to think about track issues now as it is going nito an AE82. I might have to measure this up on the car.
Those 2 shafts in the last pic are they left and right?
What if I just used another passenger driveshaft on the driver side?
The toy equal length ones are left and right, yes.
you need the bearing carrier for it to work as equal length.
I have the output shaft and the bearing carrier..
So I can just use a passenger side shaft! They really are equal length!
As long as the track differences are OK...
yep you can
Well it all fitted together and seemed to fit and drive OK with a passenger driveshaft!
Thanks!
No problem at all mate, and thanks for the thanks![]()
