Can you list what you are getting for each cylinder. As long as they are all pretty close to each other it should be fine.

Hello.
If it's running, dont dick around with a compression test to check for a BHG, go to a radiator place or workshop and get a Teekay test done. Cost me nothing.

just did the test then,
its reading 150kpa on all cylinders.....
cant find specs for a 1ggte in the books, but cressidas...7m's between 130-160kpa
so i think im ok in the compression dept,
oils not milky, coolant is still clean.......
what brings this up is that my rad was about 1ltr -1.5ltrs low the other day, and my temperature gauge sender sits in the top hose.....and i doubt it was sending the right temp reading....
now to pressure test the rad.....
What reading was the temp gauge saying?

temo sits on about 1/3 of the gauge, but its the factory 223 gauges its hooked up to,.....
i'll fit my new water temp gauge tonight....![]()

WELL HEY, THE RAD WAS 1/2 EMPTY......,
but im a bumbass!, i run a over flow bottle for the coolant...like most....
but me, an idiot, was running a NON recovery radiator cap, so all that was hapenning was my overflow bottle was filling but not recovering,![]()

$8 and a REcovery cap fitted, all good!![]()
