i dont think so, I guess it depends on numbers, but I could confedently say we could fit 16 cars on our block quite easy, and there would still be enough room out the back for the people.
But yeah our place is an option, heres a small map, the X marks our place..

Alternatively, If Melbournians were interested in meeting somewhere central for them in the morning arounds 10:00am, then heading to the GOR you could all stop in Geelong (maybe down at eastern beach) for a BBQ and photo opportunity. Then afterwards at 1:30-2:00 continue on to Lorne. People interested in breaking up the journey back home would be welcome to stop in at our place which is along the way. Depending on the time, Pizza/KFC/Maccas/etc are all pretty close, as well as the Grovedale Hotel/bottleshop. It would be a pretty long day for people having to travel back to Melbourne, But if the weather is nice will defiantly be worth it.
Hrmm... no one wants to make any concrete decisions as to locations?
If people wanna go Geelong, then by all means![]()

Yian,
You choose mate. Otherwise nothing will be sorted. We'll all follow you on this one.![]()

Done. I personally like the Heidelberg meet when had a while ago? 2 BBQ machine thingos, and a whole carpark good for 100 cars probably.
Thought that was probably too close to the cop shop for my liking, so, I have chosen this location.
Basically near the 'i' information sign in the centre of the map. Going north on Bulleen/Templestowe road, turn left into the blue lane towards Banksia park. There are 4 BBQs down that laneway. 2 down the left, 2 down the right. From what I remember, there is enough parking for a good 20 cars each side so we should be ok.

Sounds good, We will have to do the GOR some day though, perhaps on one of the hotter days this summer, unfortunantly due to all the tards that drive at about 50km/h along it you rarely get to enjoy it as much as you could.Even when there are signed turnouts all the way along it telling slow vehicles to pull over.

Awesome! Sounds good mate! Now that we have a date-3rd Sept, an approx time-10am, a location-stated above all set in concrete we can spread the word and have a really good turnout. So, the checklist.....Meat, bread, sauce, bbq weapons, soft drinks.....I'll bring a few loaves of bread and a bottle of sauce. If a few others buy some meat and drinks. We're set. You've got bbq weapons don't you Yian? I think it was you brought them last time....Anyone got one of those portable tent things in case cover is required? Or you reckon the weather will be ok?

Yeah I'll bring BBQ weapons. I'll paobably stake the place out at around 9am since I live fairly close by. Tooch? Wanna give me company? heh hehOriginally Posted by shelldrake

hopefully no more angry ladies this time eh
i somehow felt we would be going to that park again.
Lol. If it's a nice day I might bring my gf and some of her friends to pose scantily clad on the cars!Should check this with her first perhaps...I'm sure she'd be cool with it. Or we could chip in and hire some models! (I reckon this would be a hit)

Why spoil the look of a hot car with a bumprint on the bonnet!
it distracts from em - you look at one - or the other !
