AE71 manual or KE70 auto

I need a new track car.
I need to fit a w58 gearbox under preferably an AE71 manual.. but i hear that KE70 auto's have a bigger transmission tunnel.
Will the w58 fit under an untouched AE71 tunnel easily?

seen a w58 pulled out of a ae71 on monday, does fit.
don't think the floor was touched in anyway. I'll ask tomorrow.
and i thought they all ran the same floor?
It's not the toyota way to stamp two floors when one would do the same job.
I just checked my epc and it shows one part no for all the floors
for diesel 70s too, which came with a w5 sized box

very early rollas have a slightly diferent tunnel, (very slightly), but i have had no confirmed reports of KE70 being different....
either should be fine.

if anything the difference would be at the bottom, where the traumatic pan sits....

yep, W55 definately fitted with plenty of clearance in my manual AE71
