    Default 3t rod tang, which direction from front?

    Heya,

    Just wanting to know which way the rod is assemled to the piston. eg. which side of the crank do the rod tangs belong?

    the tang always faces to the frt of the block same with the main caps as well they have arrows that go to the frt ,if you arnt sure always goes to no 1 cylinder direction

    There are casting bulges on the front face of the rod, and theres a notch in the front of the piston. Not sure which side the bearing tangs belong, but they belong on the same side. Just look to see which side of the rod has more casting on it.

    She is sorted,

    Looking from the top to the front the oil squirter hole faces the right of the engine.
