was the car efi?, the existing fuel pump will suffice, but it is probably best to upgrade.
hey guys was just shopping round today for a lift pump and found them ranged between 80 bucks and 200 bucks
the more expensive ones are ones such as facet and something starting with 'c' ... i dunno but what i wanna know is, i went into autopro and the have a fuel pump which pumps 2 litres a minute or something and pumps at 3-4 psi. the brand name was fuelflo which probably means nothing but all i need to do is lift fuel to my surge from which i'll obviously then run my higher pressure pump. what do u think?
also just wanted to know if anyone knew what spark plugs i should run in a 1ggze... ngk preferred
thanks bexi

no it's a 1986 nissan navara with carby engine
carter carby pump or holley blue are fine as a lift pump, with the carter being a bit cheaper.
just went out and had a look... can't see a mechanical fuel pump hangin off the side of the engine and the fuel lines off the carby just go straight to fuel filter and then to fuel liones which run down the chassis so maybe you're right and it's already got one inside the tank.... lovely!
yeah the carter one i was quoted i think 170 bucks but it's rated at 14 psi when i really don't need nthat much at all that's why i was thinking of this other fuelflo one rated at 4 psi for 80 bucks but now maybe i don't need one at all anyway?
hahaha tell him to shove the 170 up his arse! he is ripping you off, as they should be no more that 130 max from an expensive place
