G series and W series use the same bellhousing pattern.
The ratios differ severely though.
Not sure if all G series have the mount ontop, or just some.
Sorry for the vague question a mate has asked me if the manual trans boxes in hiluxes are similar to the W series boxes? He suggested that they were a G series box?
Does anyone know for certain which model of hilux comes with what box or can point me in the right direction?

g52 most were
w56 and 59 i think were the others bar the obvious R15* big ass boxes.
W57 is a common box behind the 3RZ-FE and the Diesels (late model)
R150/1 is common behind the V6's (late models)
And G52's found on older series hilux's.
