    Default ST185 Shortshifter

    Looking for finding short shifter for a ST185 Celica GT4 and all i can really seem to find is these TWM ones. They seem pretty good and all that, but i am kind of looking for a Local (In Australia) Seller/Retailer. Anyone know of any Australian People who would have what i am looking for?

    - 90-91 Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD / GT4 $164.95

    that is the one i was looking at and its gonna cost around $300 bucks to buy and ship over from canada or where ever. SO any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Theres always the TRD option;

    looks like it wont be much cheaper, around $220 + shipping.

    Also shipping times are extremly fast, myslef and 2 other friends have recieved parts from japan in like 4 days including the weekend.

    The old hacksaw method also works well...

    If that isn't your style, eBay US has some copy shortshifters up for grabs.

    those ebay short shifters just look dodgy =\ doesnt come with assembly though or do i just replace the actual shifter itself.

    also ST205 shifter will work? had a look at the TRD shifters and they are different item codes which would mean they are different, would have thought if they would be interchangeable they would have the same item code?

    and hacksaw.... might as well get the angle grinder and lower my car hektik modz stylez ulleh, my mate habib iz an engineer aye, he can rite me a permit 4 mah cuztom modz!

    pretty sure just cutting the stock shifter will cause more damage than good, this is from what i have read in the past (well i think i read it, or someone told me).

    thanks for the link to the TRD shifter also might spend some time hunting around. Looking at getting a ST185 GT4 and there is one with mods done to it, APEXI SAFC 2, EBC, Turbo Timer, Intercooler, it has been restored basically, costs $15k and there are some at car yards for like 10-13 so trying to figure out if it is better/cheaper in the long run buying the 15k GT4.

    Thanks for the information anyways guys, much appreciated =)
