turn down air bypass! have you touched the air bypass?
as the topic says.. I have set up the timing to 10 deg and the car pulls great and doesnt ping..
and also i have set up the throttle positioning sensor to what i THINK is correct.. just between open and closed circuit.. think its on closed curcuit atm but its on borderline which from memory is what i thort needs to be done with a .70mm feeler between the throttle stop..
but its still idling at 1400! im not getting any errors from diagnostics.
what can I do.. can it be adjusted if u just turn the TPS over until the idle goes down :S like wtf does that do anyway
I also tried disconecting the battery for 10 min and startn it back up.. no difference... the vac lines seem to be in good order.

It is factory ECU i'm assuming?
Check all your intake hoses for splits. The one from the SC into the IC i have seen split on the underside a few times.
Get a vac gauge on it too, should idle at around -18" hg

Does it have the idle motor still connected and plumbed in?
Maybe that is stuck open.
OK i got it to 800.. throttle stop issue lol.. and now it idles warm fine.. now when you are driving and pull up to the lights the idle drops do 600 then comes bak up to 1000 then dropes to 600.. then comes back up to 800 and stays there..
this normal when u have a fmic?
il see how it goes when it warms up when cold also.
