what size is the MC?
i think its a 1"

Stick with the standard TA-22 booster, then will not have to try fitting the bigger size RA booster which I believe physically will not fit in the space the old one came from.
As long as the TA-22 booster is in good order then it need not be an issue when doing a brake upgrade.
I use an MC that comes from an ST205 or try a late model (1999-2002) Camry. Both bolt up but check the resivour will clear the vacuum hose port. I believe there is an angled port fitting to clear for the booster but not sure what it is out of, but is also a straight swap.
Both MCs are dual circuit, 1 inch and alloy with outlets on the engine side.

if you want pics of my setup let me know.
never mind
sorry about the size
i had to remake the pipe that goes to the union for the front and the rear brake bias thingo - just a bit of bundy tube did that job perfect. braided would be better and look nicer![]()
mate i also use the stock TA22 booster and MC from a 205 GT4... the GT4 is 15/16" and mounts great... i didnt go for the 1" as it is only 2mm bigger BIG WHOOP...
the only issue with the GT4 way is as mentioned above, the breather hose cannot be put back on as the MC is in the way... i resolved this by using the plug from the GT4 booster... the TA22 plug sticks straight out, whereas the GT4 is at a 90deg angle which slots in perfectly... cant show pics as the car is in pieces...
also the GT4 MC has the brake fluid sensor if you wanted to hook that up aswell... i might do that, but still not decided...
cheers
Grega,
What yr triton/pajero MC have you used? I am thinkin of hitting the local wreckers this weekend to find one and a model/yr would be fantastic!!

Hey
I have stuck with the TA22 booster but had it internally re-kitted and modified to suit a 1" master cylinder off something. Because i had clearance issues fitting a big M/C with my 3TGTEU i had to have a M/C that was really narrow, so i just looked through a catalouge at the local brakemart and found something suitable and now it all goes together and works really well. I can find out the Part number of the M/C i used if anyone is interested, cost me around 400 to have everything done.
part number would be good mate.
