Mine does a happy 1 Bar 288bhp on one, thats with Blitz turbo's that flow more air than standard, it did 260 a 1.2 bar on standard tubbies.
how much air in term of pressure can the 1G-GTE front mounted intercooler handle before it running out from it's efficiency limit? does any one have the clue?

These days a new bar & plate 'cooler that would definitely out flow a 1GGTE or even a standard 1JZGTE 'cooler can be had for as little as $120, for that sort of money you can't go wrong. The standard Toyota 'coolers really are pretty average.
do you have any website or link or photos bout this Bar and Plate intercooler? what is the size of it? i plan to own one of them now..Originally Posted by BigWorm
Just look for 600x300x75(76)mm and you shall find oodles of them around, including Ebay.
They also come 450mm wide too.

Yeah ebay is your friend, there's plenty on there, and as JCMF says there's quite a few sizes, so you should be able to find one perfect for your application.
this was discussed not too long ago (the cheap jjr coolers)

AFAIK folks have had good results with the stock coolers (as listed above). my friend bought one of the 450x300 JJR ones in the above thread (same as mine) and it dropped his inlet temps to 4 degrees above ambient which is very good.
CPT TIME FOR A COOLER UPGARDE IF U RUNNING 1 BAR THROUGH THE STOCK COOLER
