aw11 fuel pump ???

OK guys my mechanic has diagnosed a faulty fuel pump that loses pressure after it heats up.

Does anyone know what other model fuel pumps are compatible with my AW11. Just incase i have an issue locating a gze one?

Also are they all the same size? WIll it fit into the bracket that is factory for my jap gze

martin, get yourself a 7mgte supra pump. direct bolt in and will allow for 'extra' performance mods later on......

Would a Walbro ge/gze pump also be suitable for my vehicle? I mean would it fit in without bracket etc modification

I think ill take ferals advice and whack in the 7mgte pump

Have a search around google looking specifically for Walbro kits.

The GSS-341 is useable in almost every Toyota, with some being the GSS-342.

If the AW11 is popular in the states (NFI?) or if you know another Toyota uses the same bracket, you can just order that kit off ImportBitz.

Here's pictures of my walbro mounted, I soldered the wires to the orginal points.



When you mount it though, read the current fuel pump thread regarding insulating the pump. Mine is very noisey and I'm thinking of pulling out my tank and insulating it before I put all the stone gaurds back on underneath.

yeah i saw the import bitz ones but yeah out of stock. I think ill go ebay. I just want to hear back from dave dave about what model he used.

I dont want to drop the tank and find ive got the wrong pump.

Pretty darn sure it was the GSS-341. It was the one everyone lists for the SW20.
