Best person to ask would be TerryO, he recently finished this type of conversion on a customers 3SGE.
Have seen mentioned a few times mounting the distributor on the front of a 3sgte when converting to RWD, have searched and can't find any detail or pics.
Does anyone have pics, experience, hints with this mod as I am in process of doing same with 2vz-fe for a rwd setup.

There is quite a few 4age 20v with this setup. Might be worth researching that and try to apply the same design/ideas to a 3S.
Or you can get rid of the Dizzy all together and use a trigger wheel with Aftermarket ECU.

Am in process of doing rwd conversion on a 2vz into a RA23, engineer that have been talking to wants original engine management in place for roadworthy, will probably then go to something a bit more tuneable with wasted spark/MAP sensor etc.
Have a few sketches of what i recon will work properly, was realy after some pics to see if there is anything i can do easier.
Am guessing as others have done similar with other motors that dissy produces adequate pulse strength running backwards, cant see why it wouldn't.

In a 4A dizzy for example the internal teeth on the gears are straight so I don't think it would matter what way it spins. But cannot comment on 2vz sorry.
