Whoa that's alot of posts in a few hours!! Thanks for all the help guys. So looks like i'll definately be going an F series. Oh joy.... more money

I'll definately be keeping 4x114.3 bolt spacing.

    So now the options are:

    1. MX1x or MX23 (if i can find one)
    2. MS112 (redrilling required)
    3. YR22 Tarago (width?)

    Eddie.

OK, well in that case I am wrong... again. The diff I have is definitely an MS112 then. And it is definitely 1450mm wide. Beter go editting again.

Do note though that youll have to basically use your T-series as a jig to get the F series mounts in the right spots.

I am actually trying to work out which diff would be most suitable for a ta22, and after reading this im thinking going the F series as well, Does anyone actually know the width of the YR22 tarago diff? and im sure someone would have put one in a ta22, i know that i will have to use a diff jig and re-weld everything, same as if i went to a MX13/23 diff but any feedback just on which will actually fit without making the rear wheel base much wider would be appreciated

Ill be going an RN2X G diff on my RA23 for a few reasons:
    1) 5*114.3 stud pattern
    2) correct width (1375ish)
    3) availabilty of LSD centres and disk brake setups (with modification)

If anyone can think of an F series diff that suits those requirements, let us know... ill look at using that instead because of the weight saving.

    What about MS112?

    - F series
    - 5x114.3
    - factory discs
    - lots of LSD centres available
    - width is close enough (with the right wheels you'll have no problems)

I'm not worried if they come with drum/disks as i'll be converting my current brembos to the axles (hopefully). In regards to this, do all live axles follow this sort of setup.
Interested with rear brake upgrade... How you fix parking brake with brembo caliper? From what i know brembo or other aftermarket caliper did not come with parking brake..

That's correct. These brembos are from an EVO 7 and there are no handbrake cable mounting points. I'm not 100% sure on whether they use an internal drum brake (most likely) or an actuator inside the caliper. I had a quick look under an EVO 9 but couldn't really see that much as the car wasn't jacked up and the wheel was still on but they had the funkiest looking brake lines i'd ever seen.

I'll probably have to setup a hydraulic handbrake for it.

Norbie, are you talking about my choice?? If so, I wish to run Pre-AU foulcan rims, as these are dished and really easy to get a great choice in... I personally have a distaste to the undished rims found on new cars and fwd cars. So in that regard, width is not close to near enough, its way off. If your talking about Big T's choice, well, thats a different story.

the live axle disc brake 5x114.3 crown diff is definately NOT 1410mm. 1440/50 is more like it.

Just for anyone that's interested, i went diff hunting today and managed to measure a YR22 diff. The width is approx. 1450 so it was too wide for me. That's why i decided to take the MX13 diff instead!! I was stoked to find one!
