I don't think there is an LSD to fit the E series diff. I've certainly never seen one.
have any one tried to fit a LSD into an E series 7.1" diff? may be LSD from some other diff.. any one?

I DONT WORK FOR TOYOTA ANYMORE
please, no more PMs!
i got the whole axle out from a Tarago for free. it has 4.3 ratio 7.1" crown wheel. just trying to get more traction for my KE70 as the original open diff cannot put the power to the ground now.
how bout get the E diff welded? i don wan to worry about the tyres screeching and worn out fast issue. the problem i am concern is about the durability on the diff bearings and gears inside? will it worn out very fast?
you are out of luck. There is No commercially available LSD for the E Code diff. There are rumours that TRD made one in the 80s, but no-one has been able to source, let alone find one of these diffs. E code diffs are only good as axle donors (with some machining) for kouki AE86 diffs, nothing else.

...... butt scratcher?!
put an F or G series in there, the E series is as fragile as glass and wont take much abuse from my experience.
and F/G lsd's arent too hard to pick up second hand.
cheers
