    looked at that link.
    hmm.. 40kg difference from a 4agze too a 1ggte.
interesting that a 1ggte is very similar in weight to a 3sgte and nobody complains about
3sgte powered sprinters handeling like shit...

2 very small cylinders, but yeah, i see where you are going.
might even see about playing with the chassis and mooving things about too balance the car bak out again. dry sump with tank in boot mabey?
will have a play with it. thanks for the input anyway.

you can come drive my heap of shit if you want and make your mind up.
would ahve to keep in mind it has +1* camber and the tyres are bald on that outside edge, and that i have chassis rails that are seperating and resemble pancakes.
still out handles alot of cars, keeps up with skylines up mountains...

custom mounts on a standard crossmember. custom gearbox mount, its a tight fit, but not impossible
the water lines along the back of the head are hard against the firewall and the crank pulley sits about 10mm off the radiator, which sits further in the bay than the ke70 standard does just so i can fit the extra height

does a mazda 323 astina 95 model handle relatively well?
coz my 1g ke70 will shit all over that.
the 1g ke70 also turns in as good, if not better than, and holds corners better than my stock ke70.

It comes down between gap in the inlet manifold. Its quite thick and is black with a blue stripe.
most toyota have an earth strap very similar to that bolted onto the underside of the intake plenum.

yours seems to have had the crimp loop on the end ripped off.

but dont just ground it, stick a multimeter on it. if its a power wire, could be for starter motor.

    Hey guys,

what is the best oil for a 1G-GTE Gen 3 motor?
it is not listed in the spec sheet. I was thinking of using maybe Penrite or Castrol
in my oil change this weekend?
but everyone is telling me castrol, in particular magnatec is shite? Is this true?
I have never had a problem with it in any of my cars so far?

    Cheers,

You will never get a concensus on this one. Everyone will have their own opinion and most of them will have no basis for it. I personally have been using Magnatec in mine for about 40000km so far to no ill effects.
