I must say, I have just read all the post on your truck, and I must say that is going to be one sweet ride.
Shame it's not going to be ready for the show.
If it feels good "DO IT" Unless it harms others.(or upsets the RTA)

Likewise... if we don't see it this year, be great to see it next year. We're all for a little variety to have on show.

For all those worried... we will have enough space. There is a second car park area we can use. And on that... if we are to expect a fair few cars, can I ask that everyone try to make the effort to arrive a little earlier than normal, so we can have all cars parked and displayed by 9.00am (official opening time for the public to browse around). It'll save you waiting in que as well

    Thanx!

If we want to display a certain model of Toyotas like the 162/165's, do we have to reserve a space if we want to show them all together? I can think of 5 or 6 of us who are keen for this but I thought I'd ask in advance anyway.

Andrew... we do our best to get all the cars in some form of grouping, but easiest way is to try and show up all together. Makes life much easier for us

This topic was discussed last night at the board meeting and the general consensus is that if you want your car to be together with other cars, then organise to turn up at the same time.

We looked at the option of bays for each type of car, but what happens when you cant estimate how many of each car turns up and you either allocate a bay that is too small or too large?

We always try as hard as possible to get simmilar cars displayed together and this year will be no different.

We just can't garantee it unless all the cars turn up together, it would be nice just to take a verbal commitment to be there and reserve a spot but we all know how reliable we are at getting to events. If we did this we'd end up with spaces left vacant and people who'd like to have used those spaces not happy that they didn't get to.

Summary, we'll try to get all the simmilar cars together, if you have cars you specifically want to be displayed with you need to turn up together.

Umm I'll be over at my sister's house out west, so I'm looked after. Ask around, I guess someone from the interstate areas will have booked some accommodation or something, hopefully.
