If i knew Rod TA22 was going to be that unfinished i would have brought my car down. It still had electrical tape roll on the wiring. LMAO.

    Top show. Great effort guys.

As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

Well, what can I say that has not been said before?
But a big thank you, to ALL the organisers for putting on a great day. As well as the late nights preparing their own cars, they volunteer their time to organise and run the day. Thanks to All the entrants. Which without, there would be no show. And thanks again to the judges for my trophy, (so there is something to be said for being old and original).
The photos I took are up here.
Check out my photo and video album ToyoFest 2006.!

Never! Though the car in front of me did, and it's zorst stank and went all over my car.

And... categories for next year... I suggest "Best 1973 JDM Celica"

I hope you enjoyed seeing my garage queen, 'cos you probably won't see it until this time next year... or maybe the 2007 Nats.

Ahh, but it was a damn good day.

    g'day guys,

thanks all for a great day.

was impressive to see so many nice and varied cars in one spot.

A big thanks has to go to the board for the way the day was run. i was there from quite early, and watched them direct and organise the cars neatly, quickly with a minimum of fuss.
then finish judging and have presentation and finish on time. WELL DONE GUYS.

just a quicky on a dissapointing note, i saw alot of people touching and leaning on other peoples cars, and at one point found someone sitting on my front guard (wearing a toymods shirt too....)

    Cheers
    Stew

I made sure never to touch anyones car, i would hate it if someone put their greasy hands on my freshly polished paintwork.

Big ups to all the organisers

as Stew mentioned, the event ran smoothly from start to finish, the parking coordination was incredible, I am still surprised at how you guys fitted everyone in groups so well and so many cars in one carpark.

all in all had a great time, the drive down from Newcastle was good fun, the weather was perfect and there were Toyotas everywhere, what more could you want???

Congratulations on such a successful event.

Im sure you are going to have a pile of pictures, so I will just post one which is a panorama of the show taken from the balcony above registration. Its quite wide so I will just link the photo rather than paste it directly into the thread
