    Hey guys just a quick one,

    My gf wants to join the forum however she doesn't own a toyota, no matter how much she thinks she has dibbs on mine

    is it an issue that she doesn't own one? I know there are some people here that don't own one, but i think they had one when they signed up i guess she could just lie

    and this might sound odd, but why would someone who doesn't own a toyota want to join a toyota forum? does she want to buy a toyota?

    yes, there will be a flurry of desperate boys flocking to her (and she'll have more rep than you within a week).
    Quite a few people don't own a toyota... some are here because they run toyota engines in their various bastardised hybrids, etc. Just put down details and she'll get through.

    Yeah Nim.. but I thought the Integra was his daily and he had a Toyota project car?

    Sort of like someone else well known who has a Toyota project car.... but he drives a Volvo!

    Yeah, I'm sure your GF can join. The only advice I can give is for her to not ask about rep and what it means.... especially in any forum other than the Feedback section.

    would also suggest she do a search before asking questions

    Then her rep will hit the -ve's, but a nice apology/pic and she'll have more rep than river/OC combined hehehe

    Just put in..."still searching" for car model/make that'd probably be the best bet

    She doesn't have to own or drive a Toyota to join the forum, although it usually helps to be an enthusiast...

    There are plenty of people who have Toyota project cars and are driving other monstrosities (like one driving a fairmont, and another driving an excel).

    There are even people on here that don't have and never have had a car, they are just generally interested in learning about them.
