RA65 versus MA61/MZ10 rack mounts and lengths?

hi folks,

i was just curious whether the RA65 rack bolts into an MA61 or MZ10?

i've found an RA65 rack with no power steering and am wondering whether it would fit into am MA61 or MZ10.

I only ask this as it save me having to crawl under 2 stupidly low cars (in two different locations) to measure things

I can confirm 100% that they are NOT interchangeable. The crossmember is much closer to the firewall in an RA65, so you can imagine what effect that would have on the angle of the steering column.

I know the PS versions are not interchangeable directly.

Norbs, with the steering column angle...I can't see that being that big a deal..the stock setup has a uni in it..I wouldn't have thought that the angle would be critical really (within reason).

Yes, it is a big deal. If you saw both side by side you'd know what I mean.

There were also other differences in the racks but the details escape me - that's the major one and as far as I can tell it's a deal-breaker.
