$4.5K will easily cover the cut itself. Factor about $700 in for wiring and another $300 for misc parts etcOriginally Posted by coFF33

I wonder if its a viscious circle. you use beer to pay for knowledge. beer slowly destroys knowledge...![]()

I installed the boost controller on Sunday. Started this at 9am and finished at 3:30pm
If ANYONE else ever does this, please install your boost controller piping BEFORE putting the engine in the car. I cannot stress this enough! Getting to the rear turbo was an absolute nightmare and I even considered pulling the engine out of the car slightly to do it.

thats usually the case, these engines are huge, then they've got big stuff bolted onto the side of them, and makes for even LESS room!
Coffee, i have a choice currently of 3 1JZ + R154 cuts here in perth for $3.7-$3.8k.

anyone know how much r154 with jz bell housing and flywheel go for? Thinkign of teaming one them up with an aristo cut.
not too much change from $1500 if i can recall..
not cheap!

ahh still not so bad actually. Especially if you consider the price of a JZA80 hal;f cut which i really havent been able to get hard information on other than really really expensive. So aristo + R154 + robs soarer = mmmmmmmmmmm.
you gonna hand over that w58 once you're done? hell i'll take your engine too, might even sling a few beers at ya for the honor

I guess! Car has been running well for a month or so now. I've installed an Apexi AVC-R and am looking to get Y-Dump pipes and get the exhaust done properly very soon. I already have a front mount, and all of the piping, just need to get that mounted and the pipework done.... and then i'd like to install my old SAFC and finally get the car dyno tuned!
