bearing grease!!
though i've seen normal grease in it.. probably dodgy mechanics? ..
I wondeer what one should use to lubricate the internals
(centrifugal advance, etc ) of the Nippondenso
electronic distributor for the 4K ?
Would spray lubes like WD40 do ?
This dizzy doesn't appear to have any lube holes
in the housing.

Research has shown child in front seat causes accidents, accident in back seat causes child
I use machine oil in dizzys. A couple of drops are all that is required, and it doesn't attract dust the way grease does. My gummed up 18RGEU dizzy was gummed up due to copious amounts of grease bound to dirt and muck. If you have it in pieces, use a tiny bit of grease on all moving surfaces before you reassemble it, but wipe the excess clean.
Nikita the RA23 is almost finished.
Thanks, Vios and Tricky.
Can silicone spray be used too, especially on the breaker plate
to help the vacuum advance shift it smoothly ?
Never, i repeat, never spray stuff inside your dizzy unless to clean it out when in peices. Points (not in your case but for others) and dizzy cap are to be kept dry too.
You always see people (my ignorant mate) spray the inside of the dizzy and cap with WD40 'just to be sure'. This spray will help burnout your points, if you have them, rotor button and cap until you buy new ones and spray more Wd40 in 'just to be sure'.
keep it dry!
Thanks, Rollin'.
Will keep that in mind.
