FWIW I fitted a complete 2006 Hilux different centre into an RN25 rear end. Diff housings are different between the two and tail shaft flange does not swap over so tail shaft needs to be modified to fit.
Hi folks
What (letter) series of differentials is fitted to the rear of 2005 – 2015 Hilux utes?
Is this the same differential used in H200 HiAce vans?
I know older Hilux utes were fitted with G-Series (8”) diffs.
Does the crown wheel and pinion from a 2005-2015 Hilux, fit in a G-Series, do they also have 200mm crown gears?
Regards

I think it's an a series type diff so supra gears may be similar.
No. JZA80 have an a series diff. Jza70 is the same gears as toyota 86, is200 and hilux g series.

If the 2005 and newer Hilux differentials aren't identified by a unique letter code, can anyone then confirm that they are also 8 inch?
Have an 8 inch/200mm diameter crown gear?
Interesting, would a LS unit intended for an IS200, then fit a Hilux G-series diff?
What size diff comes in a RX/MX 61/73?
