The idea of a night out for drinks, dinner and party hard popped up at the BBQ last Sunday.

Hands up for anyone down for a drink say in the city where it's nice and central?
(I feel so bad to the guys who drive down from the otherside of the state to Brickmakers park)

Ideas:

- Bar (i like Transport at fed square where the december drift afterparty was)
- Henn's bellydancing, smoke shisha (how do u spell it)... and we can watch Henn dance.
- Steakhouse for dinner?

Expected time: 2-3 Saturdays from now? Evening so all those who have work... no excuses

Plus it's a social night so leave the car at home and get the girlfriend/mate/Fujiwara_ToFu to drive your drunk ass home

I'm down. I'll propose Saturday 13th May, from 8pm.

No driving, get PT or a taxi (oh, and of course, enjoy alcohol responsibly).

That Shisha bar was Sahara nights on Lygon st, just north of Brunswick rd. Probably not the best place for a big group, too loud and too much belly dancing.

I don't like Transport that much, however I can't think of a better city place for a big group.

any weekend is good for me pretty much except next weekend, Im moving grrr!

Dinner is a goer, must have solid base to support a big nigh on the turps & cutting sum moves on the floor later helps sobering up! hahaha

transport is good, but upstairs where its called taxi i think. has good views, might be a tad chilly for winter but the still pour the drinks freely there,and no loud ass music so u scream "WHAT DID U SAY???"

Yes, I dropped past Transport last night at about 10, and it was very packed and very loud. Horse's idea of upstairs would be good if it is quieter and less packed.

I agree, as long as we can hear each other I'm happy. Just another suggestion: Young and Jacksons comedy night (I've never been), my mates think it's a good night out though...

Well I dont know about anyone else but I work evenings so some of us might have excuses anyway...... I will try at get the night off but I am going to need to give notice so please finalise date asap.

I reckon the more the merrier. However it's up to you whether your girlfriend would enjoy and evening out that could well involve a lot of car talk.

And if she does come, additional single friends are always appreciated... hell they're even appreciated if she doesn't come.
