Hi all...

I have organised a drive in night throught Rollaclub.com and im extending the invite Toymods way!

Were planing on meeting at Macca's cnr Bell and St.George rd at 7:30pm, on the 24th of March, for an 8pm departure... we want to be at the drive in before 8:30 so we make the movies easily.

We have a small group already making the trip, some of which are members here as well, and we would be rapped to meet some more Toyota nuts!

I have been flat out so I havent found out the movies screening as yet... I can tell you that one of them will be the new teenage mutant ninja turtles movie... but thats about it!

Sadly, I wont have my Twinky there as I had a slight problem the other day.... the oil pressure sender broke and caused an engine bay fire which has caused some fairly decent problems! This is why I have been busy!

We have a few different clubs coming ranging from commodores to Rollas, so it should be something different!

Well, I have to say... I drive a commodore. There, I have said it... lol

If you dont like Commodores then dont look at them, pretty simple. I have some good mates in a local club that liked the idea of a drive in night so I invited them and some others. Plus it bumps up the numbers for the night etc etc.

Anyway, appologies for not keeping this up to date, have been flat out getting a new car and trying to get the twinky back on the road for tonight but with no luck!

Anyway, we are meeting at maccas cnr St george and bell streets at 7:30pm tonight. We have to leave no later than 8pm to make the movies... if you cant make it to the meet point meet us at the drive in!

Movies are as follows.

Wild Hogs @ 8:30 and 10:30
TMNT @ 8:20
Hot Fuzz @ 10:30
Freedom Writers @ 8:10 and 10:30

Cost is $20 per car, not dependant on number of people in it... just $20 per carload. We also have the option of staying on for a second movie if you like, no extra cost.

If there is interest we might make a small cruise afterwards but this is to be decided at the time.

We have a few from Toymods, about 6 or so cars from RollaClub and a bunch of Commodores to get some numbers... theres even my mates 55 chev coming. Should be a good night with a bit of diversity in the crowd... so lets all get along together and have a good night!

As Cam said, they all sem to have migrated elsewhere... was pretty quiet!

We had a half decent turnout... Sadly only two of us managed to bring our Rolla's... Cam included. Cheers to those who turned up, it was a good night and it was good to see some faces that seemed to have dropped of the plannet!

Hope to see some more members at the next run... whatever that may be! That goes for you to AJ... your a Rolla owner!

We should be having another one... problem is its getting cold now but as you mentioned above... bring a (lady...) friend and your sorted!

Actually, does anyone know of a ae95 (I think?) awd wagon running around, white with 17's... dumped and sounded pretty good! They followed us on the run and ended up at the drive in as well, just didnt have the slightest if there a member etc?

Anyway, Once we figure out a date or the like for the next one I will post away again... Was a good night but we needed something afterwards? Plus, I have to get my Rolla back on the road before the next one!
