Had you looked into doing a kit to suit a 1UZ or 2JZ T56 conversion? There seem to have been quite a few adapter plates sold but Im yet to see anyone offering a clutch/flywheel package to suit it.
Im looking at buying a package for my 2JZ/T56 setup in the near future.
I used to eat alot of natural foods. That was until I learned that most people died of natural causes.
The only change which needs to be made to our kits is a diff clutch spline to suit the Tremec T56 boxes. Which we can defiantly do!
We can do basically any conversion your looking at!
Even if you want to stick a 6 speed getrag box on

hey baz, whats the OD of the pressure plate and installed height ? i have to fit a multi disk in a dellows bell housing. (for 4age, i have a 215mm fly in there now)
geez, next year, we are gonna be buds haha.
i dont have a funny or cool signature.
I'm assuming you mean the Clutch housing OD = 210mm
The pressure plate inside is 185mm in diameter
The height of the housing it self (twinplate) is 46mm or 50mm if you include those little studs sticking out.
When you say installed height I can take this in many ways....
Height from the clutch surface to the clutch fingers when the clutch is bolted up?
Height from the surface of the flywheel to the clutch housing top?
The overall total height is around 3mm taller than a stock clutch setup (including the little studs)

Thanks Baz. I have a tricky bellhousing to fit my clutch in as well, its the A340e auto trans bellhousing (J3), with an adapter between it and the gearbox, which means the clutch has to be reasonably narrow. Those dimensions do sound fine off the top of my head but I'll draw something up when Im ready to order it.
One thing Im curious about is the sprung centres for the plates. Ive seen some multi-disc clutches that still use a sprung centre, which interests me somewhat as my car will be mainly for street duties. Also will have 500-550rwhp so Im willing to sacrifice some drive-ability for power-handling-ability. What is your opinion on this?
Happy to take my specific requirements to email if you prefer. Dont want to clutter up this thread, however I suspect a few people might be interested in the same information.

yeh sorry, when i wrote it i thought it was a loose question.
"Height from the surface of the flywheel to the clutch housing top."
ah dam, i dont think its going to fit. i had to clearance the bellhousing just to fit this 215mm single plate.
cheers.
ill delete my posts tonight.

Where was the stock one hitting? Remember these are smaller is diameter meaning the height is further towards the center of the clutch.
We can also change the little studs to countersunk bolts which then makes the height from the surface of the flywheel lower than the stock clutch!

the pressure plate bolts were hitting the bell housing where the b/housing bolts came through. i think the dellows bell housing's were made around the 212mm clutch.
so is the outside edge of the mounting face of the pressure plate 210mm ?
i just realized i cant delete posts here.
cheers baz.

Looks pretty decent mate, i'll keep in mind for my next UZ clutch.
Actually,, what would just the pressure/clutch plate combo go for? my existing flywheel would be fine as the clutch cover appears to be a tilton copy in terms of PCD etc?

yeah agree, these look pretty good! oh well, too late for my UZ now
